Delete your Gengency account
You can delete your Gengency account and all of its data at any time. The fastest way is right in the app — or, if you can’t access the app, send us a request below.

Delete in the app
- 1Open the Gengency app and sign in.
- 2Tap Settings.
- 3Tap Delete account and confirm.
Path: Settings → Delete account. Your account is deleted right away, you’re signed out on every device, and your videos and generated media are permanently erased.

Request deletion on the web
We’ll delete the account and all of its data within 30 days of your request.
Email us from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”, and we’ll take care of it.

- Your account and sign-in details (email address, Apple or Google sign-in link)
- Every video you uploaded or recorded, including audio
- All generated media: reference images, final videos, transcripts and summaries
- Your token balance and token history — remaining tokens are forfeited
- Your push notification token
What we may keep, and for how long
- Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, under their own policies
- Limited records we’re legally required to keep (for example for tax or accounting)
- A record that you asked us to delete your account, so we can show we did
- Backup copies, which are overwritten on a rolling basis within 30 days
Have a subscription? Cancel it first.
Deleting your Gengency account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. On iPhone, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
